On Wednesday night, Sam Smith performed a sold out show at the legendary Apollo Theater. He sang songs off his debut album, In The Lonely Hour, including his radio hits “Latch,” “La La La,” “Money on My Mind,” and concluding the evening with a powerful version of “Stay With Me,” with a surprise appearance by the Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige.
“Last night was one of the greatest moments of my life. I love you @maryjblige,” tweeted Smith, to which Blige responded, “I love you too. U R Amazing & Anointed.”
